THE HOTEL

The Grand Hotel's imposing building with 105 rooms stands in the centre of Tours, located exactly between the Vinci Convention Centre, the TGV central train station and the Indre et Loire prefecture.

Built in 1927 by Maurice Boile, a local architect, with interior design by the internationally known decorator Pierre Chareau, its high quality construction reflects the finest style of the period. To maintain this spirit, the Grand Hotel recently received a complete renovation, offering contemporary decor inspired by the Art Deco era, modern comfort and the latest technology by Miss Tatiana Tragkovic. It hosts a variety of cultural events, private meetings and seminars in its central Loire Valley location.

Your stay at the Grand Hotel will introduce you to the Touraine way of life, in a region which provides the setting for the most extraordinary Renaissance chateaux including Chenonceau, Amboise, Chambord, Villandry and its gardens and many others. BREAKFAST

A plentiful breakfast buffet is served in our dining room from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. We offer coffee, tea, a variety of breads and pastries, fresh and dried fruits, cheeses, yoghurt and delicatessen meats. Breakfast can be served in your room upon request. We can work with you to prepare an estimate for your breakfast meetings.

BAR

When the hotel was first established, the decorator Pierre Chareau envisioned a reading and letter-writing lounge on the ground floor. Today, entirely recreated in its original space with its lighting and decorative elements, it houses the Grand Hotel Bar. Relax while enjoying a good cognac or a regional wine. The barman is at your service each day in season starting at 6:00 pm.
